A simple morning for a change...

Life is good - a little yoga today to get the focus back after a long haul last week working on the AB and the Vietnam Era Website. I learned a lot but felt crazy about half the time. I am hoping that some aspects of this grad program will get clearer - like the technical aspect. There are so many things that I need to brush up on as a digital immigrant. There seems to be a never ending array of vocabulary to learn, ways to access, capture and use information and media, and I swear that every single one has a tutorial! Don't get me wrong - I love it most of the time, but some days I really wonder if a 47 year old art teacher has what it takes. All of these Web 2.0 tools are so creative, actually, and there is always something exciting that I want try with my students every time I learn something new. I am really excited about my thesis ideas to. I am not sure which way it will go, but I am sure it will become clearer soon. So my latest, greatest, favoritest, okay - not a word, but I like it, is the Art 2.0 site. I love the connections with other art educators and it is especially nice to have that feeling of "being in it together". So it is the first site I am sharing with any of you that check in here in cjobie world.
